Job Summary 

As a Global Equity Administrator you will report to the Sr. Manager, Global Equity and work closely and effectively with teams across Bird to develop and communicate equity compensation programs for top-tier talent and assist with day to day management of our equity compensation plan. You will be a trusted resource and relied upon to administer equity based programs. You are a well-rounded equity professional focused on strong customer service, commitment to accuracy, and high quality work.

Responsibilities

  •  Manage the day-to-day administration of equity compensation programs
    • Process all activity including grants, exercises and share issuances in compliance with current regulations
    • Maintain pending grant lists and support preparation of Board materials on an as-needed basis
    • Perform monthly and annual activity reconciliations
    • Ensure capitalization table is complete and accurate
    • Prepare summary reports and perform forecast modeling scenarios for shares available, participant vesting, etc.
    • Respond to participant questions on a timely basis
  • Develop and support an incredible participant experience including creating and presenting slides, addressing participant inquiries, creating educational materials, and maintaining our internal equity site
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR teams to address equity compensation matters
  • Develop new processes and workflows to streamline and scale

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree
  • 3+ years of equity experience at a fast growing company, preferably in both the private and public sector
  • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills Ability to pivot between equity administration, participant equity education, global equity compliance and equity taxation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Carta and Fidelity or ability to learn new systems quickly
  • ​​Familiarity with Global Compliance and Tax Mobility
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation
