Israel’s 4th Largest City, Rishon LeZion, Launches Bird Scooters

Bird scooters are now available in Rishon LeZion, Israel’s fourth largest city.

The launch has added hundreds of Bird Three scooters to the city’s transportation network to help reduce traffic and increase access to local businesses and public transportation.

Equipped with advanced safety and sustainability features including the industry’s longest, most stable footboard and its most protected battery, Bird Three is uniquely designed to meet the sustainable transportation needs of Rishon LeZion’s 250,000 residents. New riders can quickly access guides and tutorials for how to properly use Bird scooters directly from the Bird app, or by clicking the links below:

Bird’s arrival in Rishon LeZion marks our ninth launch in Israel since beginning operations here nearly four years ago. In that time, cities like Tel Aviv have taken a leading role in demonstrating the wide-ranging benefits that shared scooters and bikes bring to cities, from informing the construction of new infrastructure and closing the micromobility gender gap to removing approximately 1.5 million car trips and more.
