Public transit and micro-electric mobility in Germany just got more accessible—and more affordable—this summer.
As the country’s nationwide 9 for 90 ticket program kicks off on June 1st, making all modes of city and regional public transportation available for just €9 per month for three months, Bird is launching a twin campaign designed to help connect riders to transit easily and affordably.
This summer, Bird riders throughout Germany can benefit from our own 9 for 90 ride pass offering 90 Bird unlocks for just 9€. That’s a savings of up to €81 on Bird rides in Germany all summer long. The discounts are available for 90 days from day of booking, allowing riders to save on micro-electric mobility during Germany’s peak scooter and bike riding season.
To access Bird’s 9 for 90 ride pass, riders in Germany can simply open the Bird app and select the ride packages option from the pulldown menu.
The launch of our most recent initiative to help support public transit in Germany comes just weeks after Bird integrated with the Berlin mobility app Jelbi earlier this spring. The full integration means that Berliners can locate, unlock and pay for a trip on a Bird scooter directly from the Jelbi app.
