Bird’s most recent collaboration with Yelp comes after our two teams worked together to help Super Bowl fans explore and experience local Los Angeles businesses.
The series of initiatives was inspired by a 2021 study from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business demonstrating the positive impact shared e-scooters like Bird have on incremental spending at local shops, restaurants and cafes.
Bird is committed to working with our 350+ partner cities worldwide to enhance the economic benefits that our vehicles bring to local businesses. Last year, Bird riders added an estimated $100 million to local economies through incremental spending alone.
